i'm now at the NUS library, just finished my medical check-up. There was a lot of people, so it took about two hours for everything to complete. The staff there are very helpful and friendly indeed. They answer all your questions patiently and direct you to the right place. The medical exam include a blood test, which is what i'm most afraid of, i admit. i have a history of near fainting everytime i have my blood taken. i couldn't differentiate whether it's because i have a phobia for blood or a phobia for needles. So i told the nurse and she told me to lie down. She even hand me a rubber ball of sort to let me squeeze. "So you can have something to concentrate on." And while drawing the blood, she kept asking me questions, trying to divert my attention.Seems like i'm being treated like an 8-years-old. And nope, i didn't faint. =)
