i had three meetings today. o_O

Three different meetings, three different places.

One welcome tea down, one more to go.

Am shouldering more responsibilities now.. As Spiderman's uncle said, "With great powers, come great responsibility.." Down the same line, with great commitments, come great responsibilities?

Still, i'm grateful to be given so much learning opportunities. There are just so much that you can learn in these activities; whether it's just organizing a small event, or being a small leader in some committee, i find that i can always learn from these experiences and the people around me. It always fascinates me how people just come together and organize an event together successfully. There is some interpersonal skills involve here. And the chemistry, or rather, the cooperativity between these people will often decide the outcome of the event.

It's heart-warming to see how those people who are really passionate about something that they are doing exude this sense of excitement and warmth which is really contagious. To see them talk animatedly about something that they are passionate about is just... priceless.

NWP welcome tea today.

Was quite disappointing with the number of people who turned up today. Not even one third of the people who signed up during matric fair. Maybe i shouldn't have so much expectations. Only a few of the m'sian freshies came.

The only consolation was probably these two foreign guys. Daniel, a German guy who learns chinese. He is one of the familiar faces from matric fair. Was happy that he actually turned up for the welcome tea. =) Abishek, who came from India, but actually grew up in Uganda, was very enthusiastic about our training. We even exchanged a few emails after knowing we both stay in the same hostel. Ever so polite and sincere, he'll always thank me for telling him stuff about our club. He even said thank you for he had a wonderful welcome tea cum training session. Ahh... a few more Abisheks and Daniels will definitely make my day.
