Work is getting pretty routine. We can now set up the bar-code station, with laptop and scanner and all, within 5 minutes.

Had a full day of three sessions today. It's the arts fac today, so there are more eye candies to look out for. =P As we have to take over the admission counter in front of the hall, we have to keep reminding everyone to keep their attendance card with them all the time.

Can you imagine having to repeat, "Please keep your card with you, you're going to use it later", or "Please retain your card for later", or "Please hold on to your card"... to every single graduate?

Maybe it's the excitement and the nervousness that they feel on their big day. Some of them would forget or misplace their card.

Another colleague put it right. Next time just tell them to put the damn card in their pockets. Save a lot of energy repeating the long lines.

"Please keep this in your pocket." =) (Yes, you have pockets in your robes!)

i like that. Short and snappy. He-he.

And arts graduates are more fun. They cheer and shout when their peer is on the stage to receive the scroll. They also dressed differently. Quite a number of them don't wear the usual shirt and pants or skirt. i saw a girl wear a low-cut dress, another one wear sleeveless top inside her robes. A girl spiked her short hair so much that she looks like a cute porcupine.

On the other day, i.e the science graduate day, people are more erm... prim and proper and reserved. They don't cheer as much and things more quiet. It would have been boring if we hadn't spot some of the familiar faces in science.

i saw my TA. And he's a Master of Science. With First Class Honours. o_O

Then i saw ko, and a senior from Tzu Ching. Mummy was very happy that day. She's all smiles. Cos i took lotsa pics for ma and pa and ko, before i head to work for the afternoon session. =)
