"Teacher, i miss my Po Po..." She said that last week.

"Teacher, i miss my mummy..." She said that the week before that.

Now, how do you deal with a 6-years-old who said things like that in the middle of her lesson? It doesn't help either when she said that, she looked at you with her big, questioning eyes, and with her small, soft lips pursed so tightly that you know she's just holding back her tears..

ZY (yup, the Doraemon girl) from English class has been doing that for the past two weeks. So it's been like...

"No, honey, i don't know your mum's phone number so i can't call her. Now please finish your writing."

"You miss your Po Po. Ok, fine. You'll see her after class. Now please go back to your work."

"Ok. No, no, don't do that..." Then she cry.

And that's my cue to start coaching other students instead, while hoping that she'll stop sobbing eventually. (i'm a bad teacher *evil laughter*) She did.

i'm hoping tomorrow will be better...
