Dr. Randy Pausch, a 47-year-old computer science professor from Carnegie Mellon University, gave an inspirational talk on the Oprah Winfrey show and received standing ovation from the audience in the studio.

"The talk was initially part of the university's Journey series, in which senior faculty members are asked to give what would, hypothetically, be their last lecture before dying – in Pausch’s case, however, he really is dying, of pancreatic cancer."



The last part was quite touching as he mentioned that the talk was initially only for three audience- his three young sons, whom he'll have to leave behind, soon.

He mentioned that 'Experience is what you get when you don't get what you want." How true.
