Okay i lied. i went to Marche for a press release. They sent an email to Aspire and i was sent, with Chuan as my photogragher of the day. The official opening for Marche is tomorrow and so they have a small press conference. So there were reporters from different press present. Real reporters. With notepads and big, huge cameras and all. Suddenly i felt very small next to them ha ha.
i can see that they have really invest much in the decor of the restaurant. The place we had the press release is actually in a 500 years old hut built inside the restaurant. The wood is specially transported from the Alpine mountains. There's even an old cable car near the entrance.
After Thomas the manager gave a short speech, we were invited to try out their food, which is the fun part. As the restaurant theme is like a market place, so basically you just order at that counter what you want to eat. With a wide selection of fresh food, we were really spoilt for choice.
After hanging out and admiring the decor and eating and taking photos and more walking around, we left. But not without a door gift. They gave us this big box with an apple, an orange, four strawberries, their freshly baked bread and also...
