Just chatted with an old friend on the phone.

i can't believe that although both of us are in S'pore for nearly a year, we've never meet up or call each other!

Fresh out of spm (o level), i started working in a shopping complex selling children's clothes. On my first day, she introduced herself and started chatting with me. We started to go out for lunch breaks together and always chat during working hours. =P

But after my last day of work, i've never seen her again. And that was nearly four years ago. Now, she's working as an accountant here. She came here alone, rented a room and started working to earn her own living. She told me that she wants to work really hard while she can, while she's still young. For that, i really salute her.

She's a special friend to me because she's the only peer i have that's not studying in a university.

She still sounds the same in the phone, the HL that i know. =) i keep telling her we should meet up after my exams.. haha. i really hope we can.
