"It's snowing! Teacher, it's snowing!"
That's what one of my students exclaimed after we stepped out from the centre this evening.
Snowing. Yup, it very well could have been. The only difference is, it's yellow 'snow' flakes that's snowing down from the sky. The trees that lined the street have been blooming full of small yellow flowers the past few days. I remember driving past and gaping at the beauty of them. Little did i know a few days later, they make an even more magnificent view- when they actually 'snowed'.
It's beautiful. The street, and the parked cars are as if covered with yellow confetti rained down from the sky. The open-air restaurant at the corner of the shoplots has a carpet of yellow flowers on the floor. A worker can be seen furiously sweeping them. Ha. It's like we're having our very own 'Winter Sonata' in Bear Hill. No exaggerations. Even Ms Lim commented that the flowers have been blooming more than usual compared to the last few years. Romantic, eh? I went home feeling an unusual light-heartedness. *smile*

It's been some years since i last saw some of my younger cousins in KL. Went there with mum today. And my, how time flies! The toddlers that i last saw are now in primary (still cute as ever), the older ones are all grown-up, some of them are even taller than me by, erm, considerable height now. But then, they could be saying the same bout me ha, how i've changed, as a few of them can't even recognise me now. And then there's the many aunts and uncles to meet (my mum has 10 siblings, see). All in all, it's been a nice gathering. =)
